Hibret Bank is inaugurating its New Head Quarters | Hibir Tower

Hibret Bank Share Company is inaugurating its 37 story Headquarters, dubbed as “Hibir Tower”, on 15 January 2022. Hibir Tower, located around Senga Tera, is a 37 stories high riser contributing its own Architectural Aesthetics to the Financial District of the Capital, Addis Ababa.

The completion of Hibret Bank’s Headquarters is another Major Milestone in the history of the Bank. Hibir Tower is a modern building that fulfils international standard facilities. The unique features of the headquarter building includes 13 elevators with compass system (automatic assignment of available elevators to manage crowd and ensure efficient elevator usage) , light and water supplies operate with sensory system and more than 147 CCTV cameras integrated with the building management system (BMS).

An interrupted central power supply, ample parking facility of four basement floors and the town’s giant screen of 270 metre square are also some of the features of Hibir Tower. All in all, Hibret Bank’s Headquarters is equipped with modern facilities that will enable the Bank provide swift and excellent customer service. The Tower has three blocks.

The first G+4 block, comprises of spaces to lease for various businesses and the 2nd G+32 block is allocated for office purpose. The third block of the tower is a G+4 that has meeting halls of various sizes, Cafeteria, modern kitchens and a gymnasium. The other major facility on this block is Hibret Bank’s “Hibir Branch” spaciously designed to serve customers with the swiftness and comfort they deserve. The Branch also has a sizable and modern safe volt to safely keep customers’ precious possessions and documents. The construction of Hibir Tower took six years for completion with an investment of ETB 2.8 Billion.

The Design work is made by Eskinder Architects which is an indigenous architectural company and the contractor is the internationally renowned Chinese contraction company, China Jiangsu International Economic Technical Cooperation (ETTC) Group LTD.
